Agrifuture S.p.A. is a Benefit Company founded by three managers with decades of experience in major Italian industrial companies.
We utilize managerial and financial experiences and cultures in the field of the green economy, conceiving and following the entire development path of individual projects, interacting with innovation players, and integrating individual specializations into a broader ecosystem.
As a Benefit Company, we operate by pursuing economic objectives while simultaneously pursuing goals of shared wealth.
This means that environmental sustainability, territorial enhancement, and social development are an integral part of our articles of association and our way of operating.
With this vision, we promote integrated, innovative, and regenerative agriculture, capable of combining economic competitiveness, ecological transition, and respect for the environment, with zero waste.
Our mission is to realize innovative circular economy projects in the agricultural, energy, and manufacturing sectors that combine energy production, enhancement of local crops, manufacturing development in a key of environmental sustainability, and value for Investors.
We operate as an investment company and project management company, getting involved in entrepreneurial projects and startups right from their first steps, investing our “boots on the ground” experience in defining the foundations, giving them solid bases and facilitating their path towards the market.
Operationally, this translates into tailor-made incubation paths, shaped around the needs of the project and our Partners, also providing for direct investments with participation in the share capital.
Agrifuture, through special purpose vehicles (SPVs) dedicated to the individual initiatives, actively participates in the projects also through minority stakes in the Partner companies for the development of the single project.
Two projects already underway are currently in Campania and Basilicata, where two startups, Mercurio S.r.l. and Venere S.r.l., participated by Agrifuture, are the operating companies for the agrivoltaic component of the projects.
